Never before have we seen such an educational shift with Schools closing globally for the unforeseeable future.
For some parents, this is a great opportunity to get involved in their child’s education and enjoy the process of homeschooling, but for others, it’s a time of anxiety and pressure amongst juggling the demands of life.
As parents and educators ourselves, we recognise that both parents and students need support right now.
We have listened to parents that are trying their best to support their children in a multitude of ways and we recognise that it’s not easy.
We have listened to students that are feeling anxious and worried and recognise this change isn’t easy for them.
Our aim is to bring simplicity to parents and students.
We want to provide a valuable educational programme to ensure students are continuing with their all-important education, alongside supporting parents and students overall.

The reality is parents can’t mirror daily school, it’s impossible.
Even with work packs, booklets, link to website and resources, it can still feel overwhelming. Where do I start? Is this the right material for my child? Do I understand what they have to do? These may have just been some of the questions you have asked yourself recently.
Our belief is that calm parents create calm children.
Having an effective, weekly programme in place is one way to achieve this.
Most parents don’t have the time to wade through tonnes of information or to organise a homeschool planning routine. It’s daunting and we understand that as both parents and educators. That’s one of the main reasons that we created this programme.

We’re here to make it easy for you and your child.
By using our weekly programme you can provide your child with quality education and a good structure to ensure they are ticking along well and still making progress. But you have more than that.
You have peace of mind that your child is developing personally through our study skills and mentoring tuition also.
Our carefully designed programme includes;
Each week students will be invited to join an online group Maths teaching session in line with the school year they are in.
If students can’t attend the scheduled time, its no problem. All of our tutorial lessons are recorded and sent to students to help with their learning, so catching up is easy.
Our Maths syllabus will follow the National Curriculum and cover core topics that are taught in each year group. Delivered by experienced specialist tutors our maths tutorials are designed to give 45mins of quality teaching and 15mins of Q&A so students can ask questions and have personalised input.
Our class sizes are of no more than six students. They provide a great way to feel connected with others and the students enjoying learning and supporting each other. Students can even work in friendship groups by inviting their friends to be part of the programme too.
English is the backbone of almost every subject in the National Curriculum. Ensuring your child is ticking along well with their reading, spelling, grammar and overall literacy is important.
Closely following what is taught in Schools, we aim to teach the core topics of each year group in an interactive and engaging way.
Our aim, as always, is to keep it simple for parents and students.
From our experience, having a regular session for your child to participate in, independent of parental input is a huge help in these times. This is what our regular Maths, English and Study Skills lessons provide.
Our programme will cover one English topic each week in which parents will have the option to support their child with through our resources The benefit is that parents won’t need to search through worksheets or create a homeschool plan and will have peace of mind that the essential topics are being covered.
Education is more than just the learning of subject content. It’s the learning of life long skills and habits of success that go beyond the school system.
We recognise the power of mentoring in a young person’s educational journey. We believe our coaching will help students develop the mindset of success to take with them throughout their future.
Our mentoring takes the form of personalised weekly feedback,
self-development tasks, regular quotes of encouragement, individual coaching calls and study skills workshops. For some students, this can be a game-changer. It can empower them with the self-belief, vision and motivation needed during pressure points in their studies and personal life.
We want to support parents as much as we can to navigate through these new times. Parent life is hard and the current circumstances have made it much harder for some.
Our Acceleration Academy allows parents to access a range of ‘support hubs’. Updated weekly, parents will be able to access the parent support hub, tuition hub and mentoring hub.
The parent support hub provides a wealth of educational resources across all ages including downloadables and tutorials. The mentoring hub is designed to support the wellbeing of both parents and students and offers advice and motivational coaching. The tuition hub is the gateway to everything needed for our lessons alongside all the lesson recordings to re-watch.
We want parents to feel reassured that their children are receiving great teaching whilst also feeling supported themselves. The Acceleration Academy can be accessed via an App and is an easy and supportive way to manage your child’s learning.
