Accelerate
Our Accelerate Academy is where students learn the skills to learn. School learning can sometimes rely too heavily on “remembering”, which doesn’t always trigger deep rooted understanding and doesn’t suit everyone.
We can do better than that.
By working with the Bloom’s Taxonomy theory, we teach children critical thinking and cognitive skills which helps strengthen their thinking skills – inside and outside of class.
While encouraging higher level thought, we teach students how to access levels of learning from basic knowledge to higher-order thought, so they can analyse, evaluate and create – building skills that empower student’s academic performance but also feed their enquiring minds.

Our Student Progress Coordinator & Academic Coach, brings a wealth of experience as well as creativity and fun to the online classroom.
Taking young people to the next level.
Jackie delivers sessions through a termly complimentary session for all of our tutored students. She also creates bespoke sessions to tackle barriers to learning and teaches the skills needed to accelerate. Whether that’s pushing to the next level grade, high achievers wanting to secure top results or students needing support in specific areas.

The Acceleration Academy is FREE to those that tutor with us
Created through years of educational and parental experience, the Acceleration Academy is a unique and carefully designed gateway. It provides both parents and students with the support, resources and guidance essential for academic success.
Through academic coaching, mentoring, support and access to a wealth of expertly designed resources, students and parents will have the opportunity to GROW in their educational and individual success.
We firmly believe that this partnership of empowering parents AND students is crucial in unlocking a student’s full potential. It’s common practice for parents to employ a subject tutor to help their children academically, with 1 in 3 parents in the UK doing so. However, in the complex world that students are learning in, they need more than blasts of subject knowledge to help them.
Children need holistic support, mentoring and guidance in developing the skills that underpin academic success. Additionally, we believe parents need to be informed and equipped with the tools to support the journey of their children.
Our current mentoring projects
We are proud to be partnering with the GDST, one of the largest providers of girls independent school education, in their new GEM mentoring project.
The GEM (Girls Empowering Mentoring) is a project supporting GDST alumnae through a mentor and mentee relationship.
The role involves a bespoke relationship of mentoring and guidance which Jemma Roye is honoured to fulfil in her role as academic coach.
